I$F EDUCATION
Successful Fundraising begins with MOTIVAITING MEMBERS. Motivated Members are educated members. Are you education your members????
I$F INFO:
This year, your I$F money will be making a bigger impact on fewer organizations, rather than making small, token donations to many organizations. This way, our contributions will make a real difference.
Instead of making seperate donations, AZA and BBG will be pooling our Tzedakah Funds so we will have more money to work from. Donations will be made in the name of BBYO. This makes sense because most organizations will not care if the money comes from BBG or AZA;what they will recognize is that it is coming from the B'nai B'rith Youth Organization.
*At meetings, share quotes and readings about the importance of tzedakah.
*At regional events, write I$F information on green paper leaves. Distribute the leaves and ask each person to return their's with a quarter taped on the back before going home. Glue the leaves to a paper tree trunk to make a "Giving Tree" and donate the quarters to I$F.
*Give short quizzes at meetings about I$F. Go through answers togeher and reward the high-scores with quarters. Encourage them to donate the quarters back to I$F.
*Include I$F information in chapter and regional newsletters.
*Have and I$F themed meeting!! After each part of the meeting (opening ceremonies, officer reports, etc.) do a short I$F education activity or share a piece of I$F info.
*Have an I$F treasure hunt with clues relating to I$F beneficiaries and tzedakah.
*Write I$F info on slips of paper. Wrap them in foil and bake them into cupcakes. Hand the cupcakes out to members to show that I$F is important and tasty.
